Essex Engine Plant PERDC

Opened on May 14, 2003 in the Ford Essex Engine Plant dynamometer laboratory, the Powertrain Engineering Research & Development Centre (PERDC) is a result-oriented organization capable of providing a wide range of automotive-related services and solutions. The PERDC houses a talented team of Ford engineers and technicians, as well as many graduate and post-graduate students from affilliated universities around the country, such as the University of Windsor, Queen's University, and McMaster University - all dedicated to the study of engine performance variability in a dynamic research and manufacturing environment.
